This course focuses the essence of Tai Chi not the form or style and can be trained along with any other exercise program or martial art. We develop strong structure and learn how to move gently and can also be applied at speed for a more dynamic approach. Working on the principle of opposites, hard/soft, push/pull. This can often be applied to ease strain from manual labour, office work, etc.

2.00 – 3.30 Shaolin Qi Gong
8 silk brocade: This ancient but simple set of healthy exercises opens up vital energy flow to the internal organs and helps to uplift mood, loosen stiff joints and increase energy levels.

4.00 – 5.00 Tai Chi Form and Applications
Guest teacher Shaolin laymonk Shi Xing Yi will be co-instructing the workshop and giving a brief demonstration of Shaolin mantis.
