Deep Healing Workshop Testimonial

Hi Colin.Image

I found the workshop very fascinating. Although it was my ‘first’ encounter to Qigong it felt familiar and resonated well, making it wonderful and relaxing to follow.
The parts that pleasantly surprised me were on working with the organs and its healing processes. I very much connected to this and felt great happiness in paying attention to my organs. It felt like my organs felt ‘seen’ this way and straight away worked with it. Another part I really loved was working in a ‘grounded’ method, that to me is highly valuable and makes the Qigong very interesting to learn further.
I am very happy Emma mentioned this workshop to do! The whole day being together – really enjoyed everyone: calmness in a good atmosphere – and being in meditation was really good, and I thoroughly enjoyed the deeper parts in the afternoon!
I am sure a lot more was going on, which may find a way to my ‘conscious surface’ somewhere along the way!
What may be relevant is to mention: A massive headache appeared this morning (I barely ever have headaches), which I guess could be a release of some kind. A long deep sleep this afternoon and a painkiller has moved it off again, leaving me in a peaceful state to focus on my passion this evening: writing.
Thank you for living your passion and sharing your teachings!
Warm regards Wendy.

Deep Healing Medical Qi Gong and Dao Meditation basics.

How Does Deep Healing Qigong Work?
Deep Healing Qigong was formerly titled Medical Chi Kung. A simple version of it has been used successfully for decades in Chinese medical qigong hospitals in China to treat a wide variety of chronic illness. This is a “self-practice” form of medical qigong.

This new version of the qigong form has the essence  of internal alchemy and  affirmations to activate the emotional body, adding color, sound and channel modifications and focusing the “yi” or mind intent have greatly intensified its effectiveness.

This qigong set has 6 parts. If time is short, you can practice just one or two segments, still with great effect. If all six are done together, the form is extremely powerful. It can sometimes create an overwhelmingly powerful chi flow, enough to make your hair stand on its end.

Deep Healing Qigong combines the best of body-centered feng shui or directional qigong, the alchemical healing process of mixing opposite polar forces, color therapy, Six Healing Sounds, body movement in sacred geometric patterns to activate the Eight Extraordinary Vessels, and subtle chi breathing that links and nourishes the human body with chi from the Earth’s energy body.

What are the benefits of Deep Healing Qigong. The synergy between all of these advanced methods help you re-birth a completely new and fresh Energy Body rather than trying to “fix” the dysfunctional energetic patterns of your old self.

Deep Healing Qigong teaches the secret of completely emptying the body of its old patterns of sick energy, and then refills you using the chi from the sun and deep earth. The movements of the form are simple and can be performed by anyone, including (with slight modification) the wheelchair bound or bed-ridden.

Geraldine Kilkelly on Craniosacral therapy available at Amber centre.

ImageCraniosacral therapy  is a gentle method of detection that encourages your own natural healing mechanisms to dissipate the negative effects of stress on your central nervous system. The craniosacral system consists of the membranes and celebrospinal fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. It extends from the bones of the skull, face and mouth, down the sacrum or tailbone area. Since this vital system influences the development and performance of the brain and spinal cord, an imbalance or restriction in it could potentially cause any number of sensory, motor or neurological imbalances. Craniosacral therapy restores balance to this vital system ultimately enhancing all systems and structures within the body.

Craniosacral therapy improves your body’s ability to heal itself. It helps relieve a full spectrum of pain, illness and dysfunction including: migraine, chronic neck and back pain, stress, infant and childhood disorders, brain and spinal injuries, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, scoliosis, ADD/ADHD, post traumatic stress and many others.

To me the practice of Craniosacral Therapy is a miracle. After my accident I felt ungrounded and off center for a long time, physically and mentally. Craniosacral therapy was the only approach that got to the core of what was wrong. Once again thank you for being there Dr jacobs, New york more info or call for appointment 0857666160.

Photos from the Glenmalure Retreat

I just had a great weekend teaching Qi Gong and Dao meditation in the Glenmalure valley. I found the place and its natural energy very supportive to what we were doing. Here is what one local writer who attended the workshop, Jillean Godsil,  had to say about it

20508_560300730673415_1075662704_nThere was about twenty of us ranged in a circle in the Wilderness Lodge in Glemalure , Co Wicklow, of different ages, nationalities and backgrounds. We were on a meditation, internal alchemy and qi gong  retreat, for some of us our first ever such experience,  which was to last two days. We were asked by our instructor, Colin Dempsey, for our reasons for attending. One by one we gave our answers and they hit a refrain of wanting to de-stress from our busy lives while connecting with our inner selves.

Qi Gong and nutrition

For many years i have always tried to eat well and thought i was as a Tai Chi and Qi Gong practioner and teacher i know i must eat well to have good energy .I recently did a joint workshop with a local nutritionalist and Acupuncturist Ursula Mc Fadden during the weekend the benefits of various methods of juicing was shared and certain methods of juicing only hold live enzymes for a certain amount of hours or we only get a small percent without some of the pulp in the juice i know i heard this before but when it was done in front of me it resonated. One thing that stood out was that if i did not use organic produce i would be drinking pestisides .Being tuned in to my body i feel that organic food was giving me more energy.
I was sharing my Qi Gong breathing and stretching  exercises and we had a complete organic weekend i saw a great improvement in my bodys energy just by eating certain foods together and not drinking water with meals or just after. My own feeling on this is that the body needs to create fire in the stomach to burn food and if we drink while eating we are putting out the internal fire. This also relates to chinese medicine as the small intestine is considered to be in the fire or heart  element .

I then decided to get the best diet i could and serve organic food at  workshops to give a Qi filled weekend.
Signed Colin Dempsey.
